Carbo Meteorite // 15.79 Grams

This meteorite was acquired from the Bethany Sciences collection and comes in a display box with a Certificate of Authenticity.

This iron meteorite was found in 1923 in Sonora, Mexico, by cowboys on the Alamo ranch. Harvard bought the metallic mass in 1928 and has since made pieces of it usable for study. This specimen displays a very defined Widmanstätten pattern, a design unique to some iron nickel meteorites.
