Hand-Polished Pietersite Freeform II

Pietersite is prized for its incredible chatoyancy and this specimen makes no exception. Hand-polished out of one solid piece of the rare mineral from the only location where it is found worldwide - a single source in Namibia - this stately freeform features a deep blue base hue, where blue pietersite is the rarest and most sought-after of the colors in which this mineral presents. The cube in the image measures 1" in diameter and does not come with the specimen.
