This luscious green copper carbonate mineral specimen from the DRC has been expertly hand-carved into an elegant dolphin and hand-polished to a brilliant luster to enhance its gorgeous colors and banding. Malachite was historically used as a pigment for painting and was a popular stone in ancient Egypt. This excellent quality carving displays sought-after natural patterning including numerous well-defined bullseyes. Cube measures 1" in diameter and does not come with carving.
