Aura Chalcedony II

Aura chalcedony is created through a unique process wherein a specimen of natural chalcedony - a variety of microcrystalline quartz - is placed in a vacuum chamber and metal is ionized or superheated until it vaporizes and fuses to the natural crystal, resulting in a mesmerizingly druzy, even iridescent effect. A marvel of science and mineralogy, this sparkling, significantly sized piece begs to be prominently displayed. The cube pictured measures 1" in diameter and is not included.
