Watermelon Tourmaline, Quartz, and Blue Muscovite

This confection features a hefty watermelon tourmaline with great luster and beautiful termination accented by a mass of opaque muscovite and quartz. The tourmaline offers unique burgundy and olive tones set off by the delicate grayish-blue of the muscovite and the white of the quartz. This specimen comes on a custom base. The cube in the picture is one centimeter.
