Spinosaurus (meaning “spined reptile”) is the largest carnivorous dinosaur to ever exist. This behemoth lived in present-day Morocco during the Upper Albian to Upper Turonian stages of the Cretaceous period, about 97.5-95 million years ago. This genuine fossil was unearthed in the Kem Kem formation, Sahara Desert, Morocco.
