Found in Morocco, this specimen is a well preserved trilobite of the genus Paradoxides, which dates back to the Middle Cambrian period around 500 million years ago. Some species of Paradoxides are known for attaining unusually large size (around 1-1/2 feet long). This piece makes an excellent wall accent for the fossil enthusiast.
