This gorgeous malachite egg has been hand-carved and -polished out of high quality malachite from the DRC. Malachite is a lusciously hued, bright and dark green banded copper carbonate mineral that often grows with azurite. Mined for thousands of years, it has historically been used as a gemstone, as a decorative stone, and as a pigment for painting.
