This large, lustrous obsidian heart has been hand-carved and hand-polished and features beautifully defined rainbows. Obsidian forms through the cooling of silica-rich lava. This rainbow specimen exhibits concentric bands of green, blue, and purple which contrast beautifully with the stark, lustrous black base hue and which pop unusually well against it. This is a prime example of this unique stone and an excellent quality carving perfect for yourself or for someone you treasure.
