Green Apophyllite and Stilbite on Dolomite

This combination specimen from India features some of the most deeply pigmented green apophyllite we have ever seen. These incredibly lustrous and dimensional crystals appear almost as if they have been saturated in green dye, but the coloration beneath the sparkle is entirely natural. This remarkable cluster stands out against an understatedly fascinating, textural dolomite matrix on which also grow large, extremely lustrous crystals of stilbite – one of which comes to a beautifully defined, sharp termination. A spectacular display piece, this specimen comes on a lucite base for ready presentation.
