Dioptase on Plancheite and Calcite // 321 Grams

This landscape of the sky blue copper silicate mineral plancheite features generously sized, lustrous and deeply pigmented dioptase crystals emerging from mounds of sparkling, snowy calcite. The dioptase displays the mineral’s characteristic clarity to the point that the twin cleavage planes are visible within the fully formed crystals. Smaller dioptase crystals decorate the plancheite matrix with grass-like strokes of verdant color.
