This unique, painterly combination specimen from the DRC features beautiful, lustrous, elongated trigonally formed dioptase crystals with incredible emerald green color and great translucency growing with uniquely colored green mimetite crystals on sky blue plancheite. While copper-based dioptase and plancheite are often found together, this piece is unique for the presence of the mimetite.
