Cinnabar was often used in ancient China as a pigment and in traditional medicine as well as prized as a gemstone. This vibrant red mineral has been in use in China for over two millennia and this particular specimen features beautiful, fully formed, lustrous crystals accented by a quartz point jutting overhead.
