This druze-packed vug from the DRC features candy-colored chrysocolla running down and filling up the interior of a vug or natural rock cavity. The sky blue crystallization within the hollow matrix is covered in a thick, lustrous layer of micro-druze which juxtaposes beautifully with the rough, rocky exterior of the specimen and the deeper blue, matte portions of the crystallized mineral present on the rim of the cavity and dispersed throughout the matrix.
