This authentic fossilized metacarpal (hand) bone belonged to a Camarasaurus, a Late Jurassic herbivorous sauropod dinosaur known for its chambered vertebrae—hence the name “chamber lizard.” Dating back approximately 150 million years, this well-preserved specimen offers a direct connection to one of the most iconic plant-eating giants of the Jurassic era.

Excavated on June 12th, 2008, from the legendary Morrison Formation in the Big Horn Basin, Wyoming, this Camarasaurus fossil is a scientifically significant and visually compelling addition to any fossil collection or natural history display.
