This meteorite was acquired from the Bethany Sciences collection and comes in a display box with an informational Certificate of Authenticity.

The Abbott stone meteorite was found in 1951 in Colfax County, New Mexico. Specimens are hard to come by, as most belong to the Institute of Meteoritics at the University of New Mexico.
