This super brilliant cabinet size Dioptase has what is considered very large crystals covering ninety five percent of the matrix. It is accented on the top right by a wonderful Cerussite crystal. It is part of a new pocket found in the Republic of Congo. Every crystal is damage free and its largest crystal is approximately a half an inch, the average crystal size of this piece is about a quarter inch. It is set on a beautiful brown matrix that is barely noticed being as you eyes are drawn directly to the beautiful color of the Dioptase. This specimen belongs in a great collection as it is a great representation of Dioptase from the Congo.
