Named for Larvik, Norway, where it was discovered, larvikite is an igneous rock composed primarily of feldspar minerals – notably featuring silvery-gray or blue feldspar crystals suspended throughout the rock and creating a special kind of iridescent effect that is limited to very few types of crystal (the most well known being labradorite and spectrolite). This unique specimen has been expertly hand-carved into a tower and will make a dynamic addition to your home, office, or collection.
